Biography
Jacob Lindley is a Hoosier born February 18, 1994. He is an eighth grader earning Straight A's in honors courses. Jacob received the Academic Excellence Award for straight A's for the both 2007-08 and 2006-2007 school years. Being very talented, Jacob is an actor and singer that plays trumpet, as well. He shines as a vocalist. His voice instructor says that his voice maturity level is that of a twenty year old. He could be compared to Ewan McGregor and Gerard Butler. He won the 2006 Indiana State Fair Hoosier Idol Junior Novelty Division with an drama/song/dance excerpt from "Peter Pan".
Jacob performed in Louisville, Kentucky for Stage One in the role of Edmund in the month-long, musical production of "Narnia". We travelled several miles each day for rehearsals and performances. He maintained A's and A+'s in school even achieving A+'s on two semester tests! (He got a 95% and 96% on the other two!)
He and Aslan were chosen to represent Stage One at Louisville's Benefit for the Arts Fund Raiser singing "From the Inside Out". Members were very impressed; they contacted the artistic director at Stage One to have them do an encore performance for Greater Louisville, Inc.'s chamber meeting in March, 2007.
Jacob has been said to be a Leonardo DiCaprio look alike.
He truly loves both acting and singing. Jacob enjoys performing and becoming the character he portrays. He has won the hardest working actor award in the local company that he is with. He has taken acting lessons through John Robert Powers in Louisville where Paul Weber interviewed him and said if he ever gets to California that he would love to cast him. He has studied under Susan Morrele with VSM Productions, as well. He has taken voice with Sheila O'Bannon from Jeffersonville, Indiana. He has began dance with Jolie Lindley. Jacob has asked for these lessons so that he may be better prepared to be an actor/singer. He would love to work as a film actor; he would be a great Disney kid. However, he eventually wants to make it on Broadway some day, as well. He loves applause!

(He also is drumming around every chance he gets)!
His favorite actors are: Tom Hanks, Dennis Quaid, Johnny Depp, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Of course, he has several female favorites, as well! Kate Winslet, Kirsten Dunst, Kierra Knightly, and Hilary Duff tops the list. His all time favorite singers are Celine Dion and contemporary Christian artist, David Phelps. Needless to say, Titanic is his favorite film followed by Forrest Gump. He loves anything Tom Hanks and Dennis Quaid are in!
Extracurricular Activities: Spell Bowl, Academic Bowl, Pep Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Pep Band, Student Council
Sports: Loves to play Basketball & Baseball - but has had to choose not to be a team member this school year due to wanting to pursue his career. However, he continues to play them with his friends. Loves to swim, bike ride, jog, exercise, play hackey-sack, volleyball, softball, hike, fish, archery, frisbee, touch football, dodgeball, soccer, snow ski, and many other sports. He got to learn gun safety and passed a test to allow him to participate at a gun range last school year. He enjoyed that, too!
He is a Boy Scout and earned his "Arrow of Light" Badge as a Cub Scout. He is seeking Eagle Scout.
He is involved with a Christian Youth Group and frequently sings for area churches and community events by request.
He enjoys eating! He has expensive tastes, though! I have not been able to buy from the Kids Menu since he was four! However, he is mindful of fat grams and calories and opts for fruit and drinks water or diet soda.
He is a camera ham! He enjoys being in front of the camera whether it's video or still! As I mentioned before, he loves applause and is not afraid to work very hard to perfect his performance to get it right!
For the first semester of '06-'07, Jacob had straight A's and a few A+'s. He maintained above 97% in all subjects except prealgebra in which he had a 94%! He was travelling for rehearsals and performances in Louisville. During the second semester, Jacob had seven courses and received six A+'s and one A (99%) in his classes. He also was Grand Champion for the Junior High Science Fair! He is amazing!
Jacob strives very hard to do his best at everything he does! He puts 150% into every project he endeavors. He is a perfectionist which for him is a good thing! And as I mentioned in his profile, he truly is a good boy!
Entertainment Goals
Jacob not only aspires to be on Broadway, he also wants to do film work, as well! He would be a great Disney Kid! He would love to serve the Lord by sharing his talents in a Gospel recording one day.
